TAC MACHINE USE POLICY
HOA / TAC OWNED ROOM EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
Our Textile Arts Center (TAC) invites all SSV residents interested in all things fabric or related craft activities to become members. Current dues are $20 per season and provide many opportunities to make friends while practicing or learning new skills.
SSV residents wishing to use TAC sewing machines must have received training on proper equipment use and have a signed waiver on file.
TAC owns the following machines:
· 6 Simplicity Brother 3129 electronic sewing machines
· 2 Kenmore mechanical sewing machines
· 2 Bernina 1080 mechanical sewing machines
· 3 Juki mechanical sewing machine
All machines, rotary cutters, rulers, mats and similar supplies must remain in the sewing room. There is no check-out system available.
GUESTS (Those staying in SSV a minimum of 2 weeks).
A TAC member may bring a guest(s) to enjoy our sewing room during non-class times, if there is available working space. The TAC member, however, must provide the guest with sewing equipment and assumes responsibility for proper equipment use.
Long-term guests are invited to join TAC, sign a waiver and receive basic equipment training provided by the host TAC member, before joining scheduled activities.
